Adam Maurice

Adam has over 15 years' experience in the IT sector working with industry leaders, BT and Microsoft.

He started his career at a very early age and set up his first business, an ISP during the .com boom shortly after completing his education. Selling the company a year after incorporation for a significant profit, he was offered a scholarship by one of the words leading IT companies but decided to form another IT business instead.

Adam founded The Internet Group in 1999. He has seen it grow from sole trader to a multi-national enterprise thanks to consistent organic growth and strategic acquisitions. The Internet Group today employs more than 60 staff and holds partnerships with Microsoft, Cisco, VMware and the SDI.

A share purchase following a co-directors exit from the business was completed in 2011, making him the majority shareholder.

Adam is now responsible for the day to day running of The Internet Group and its commercial and strategic direction.

However, due to Adam’s technical background, he still works closely with a number of The Internet Group’s clients.

He is currently spearheading the company’s mid-market transition and achieving a growth target of £15m annual turnover by 2015.

Paul Edgeley

Paul Edgeley is an IT professional working at CEO level who has been involved in the industry since 1972. In that time he has been running successful businesses, the last one being Lynx Technology, which was sold to BT Business in 2007 having been at the helm for over three decades.

His achievements have been built on engineering smart management teams who are empowered to deliver strong results based on achievable targets. His "light touch" approach means that the teams have to be led by capable managers/directors who thrive on results driven environments.

Since the sale of Lynx to BT he has taken up a small number of Chairman and Non-Exec roles within the IT sector assisting them in their growth and exit plans.

Shukhrat Ravshanov

After joining The Internet Group in the Accounts Department in 2006, Shukhrat rose through the ranks by getting involved in the day-to-day finance and commercial matters of the company as Finance Manager, and was recently promoted to the role of Finance Director. Shukhrat has obtained a MSc in International Finance and has completed his CAT and CTA. He is currently working towards completing the final part of his ACCA.
