London-Based Managed Services Provider The Internet Group Completes Successful Transition Into Mid-Market

The Internet Group, a London-based IT management company and service desk, has successfully completed its transition into the mid-market.

Following a number of appointments to the board and a 13% growth in workforce during the first quarter of this year which includes the recruitment of a specialist storage and enterprise architecture team, The Internet Group has seen its client base grow significantly within the medium sized business sector. It now provides IT outsourcing solutions to a growing number of businesses in the 100-350 employee category.

The firm has also confirmed a positive second quarter forecast, and continued growth in the mid-market. Paul Edgeley, former managing director at IT services giant BT Lynx has also joined the Board as an executive director of The Internet Group following his tenure as non-executive for the past 2 years. With this positive move, Mr Edgeley has also purchased shares in the business. Mr Edgeley will assist in delivering the aggressive growth target that has been established and also lead future acquisitions.
