Doom and gloom in the property market? Not at Paramount Investments

Paramount Investments is a fast-moving property investment brokerage selling commercial properties and portfolios from their new built offices in West Hampstead, London.

In May 2005, the managing director of Paramount, Mark Greig identified that he needed to increase his "speed to market" when promoting his clients properties other than using the traditional property portals which were static, slow and lacked any form of interaction. He believed that by doing this, he would in turn increase his sales and more importantly ensure that his clients would always achieve the highest possible premiums. Furthermore in today's fast paced world and considering the current economic climate, Paramount needed to automate a large percentage of the human factor to ensure they were always "first to market" and as such be regarded as market leaders.

In April 2005, Paramount Investments engaged their technology partner; The Internet Group who are an award winning IT Managed Service Provider (MSP), to understand their requirements and turn them in to a technology solution that was easy to use, be aesthetically appealing and would allow Paramount to offer a service that was unique to them.

One of the requirements was that Paramount wanted potential buyers to receive all the information they needed in order to make swift decisions. This included access to floor plans, leases and rental income calculations to name but a few. Furthermore, Paramount needed a way of pro-actively tracking all the communications with their potential buyers in order to measure the effectiveness of their marketing campaigns through detailed reporting.

In October 2008, Paramount launched their new system called Paramount Investments Database and their first campaign was to promote a chain of 109 pubs. Within two hours of agreeing the instruction, Paramount were able to successfully send out a customised list of the properties to their registered users, based specifically on each users bespoke criteria.

Mitchell Feldman, Managing Director of The Internet Group said, "We have been keeping a close eye on the Paramount Investments Database and we can see that since the launch Paramount have received over 9,200 online property viewings and have received in excess of 60 offers. Paramount believes that the Paramount Investments Database has literally changed the way they market their properties and as a result they have seen an increase in the amount of deals moving to completion. Greig says "The impact on business growth has been huge and customers are now placing bids and submitting deals online. As far as we know, we are the first agency to boast this facility".

Greig continues to add "we have put technology at the forefront of our business and we are now beginning to reap the rewards of doing so. This tool allows our services to be unique and allows us to stand out in a crowd".

In an economy that is affecting many property companies, Paramount are showing that with the correct tools, innovative thinking and a highly proactive approach to their clients' needs, there is still lot of quality business to be done.
